The Jamaica Tourist Board, together with Accenture Song, has unveiled a fresh promotional effort, titled “Contrasts.” This initiative is tailored to today’s tourists who are in search of destinations that provide a diverse array of deep-rooted experiences. The campaign highlights Jamaica’s special mix of engaging activities, cultural allure, and scenic wonders, along with a distinctive atmosphere that is uniquely Jamaican.
“We have immense pride in our people, our hospitality, and the multitude of experiences we are able to provide,” said Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism, Jamaica. “This new campaign is designed to showcase just that, and to compel both new and returning visitors that we have something for any type of ‘vibe’ they are looking for while on vacation.”
The campaign, “Contrasts,” underlines the island’s variety and spotlights its comprehensive appeal, catering to varied preferences, whether it’s luxury, adventure, romance, or cultural explorations. Building on the success of the previous “Come Back” campaign, “Contrasts” celebrates the warmth of the Jamaican people and their vibrant cultural heritage, inviting visitors to experience it firsthand.
“Our wish is for visitors to feel in total sync with the best version of themselves,” said Donovan White, Director of Tourism, Jamaica. “In Jamaica, they can truly enjoy a vacation that best suits their interests through our diverse cultural experiences, unparalleled beauty, and warm hospitality. It’s a vibe that can only be found on our shores.”
Jamaica consistently stands out on the global stage, boasting top-tier lodging, attractions, and services that garner significant international acclaim. Frequently listed by elite global magazines as one of the premier travel destinations, Jamaica has maintained its stellar reputation. In 2024, the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) was honored as the ‘World’s Leading Cruise Destination’ and the ‘World’s Leading Family Destination’ for the fifth year in a row at the World Travel Awards. Additionally, it earned the title of “Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board” for the seventeenth straight year.
